The ways to liberation are devotion, discipline, dignity, determination and detachment. A person who wishes attain moksha or freedom from birth and death should try to overcome impulses and be freed of lust and desire.
Devotion is part of the spiritual progress. Devotion is complete surrender and faith in GOD'S will. Turning to GOD for his help in the most trying circumstances can change the fate of a person completely. One need not collapse and resign to the cruel fate. God is the creator and saviour.
A disciplined life will never be torn apart or swayed by storms. A person who has control of his life and lives according to principles will not be easily defeated. The will power of a disciplined person will surface during times of need.
Dignity and self respect cannot be bestowed. It is more of a self imposed attitude. Other people will treat us according to our own value of self. If we are dignified then not one person can make fun or belittle our personality. People should ignore those who throw stones for they are not perfect.
Determination to reach the goal is the most important step to liberation. It is the armor against laziness and impulses. A determined person will not give way to gossips, scandals or bad influences. Only such a person will reach the goal of moksha.
Karma is inevitable in the life span of an individual. Detachment is the liberating factor towards the goal of spirituality. Dedicating the actions to the Lord and asking His permission before attempting any work will free a person from the shackles of karma.
Spirituality s not an end in itself. It is the moral way of living life in the Earth.

Peace of mind
Reduce desires, evict the ego, eject the anger and the mind will be your slave instead of being your master. Love is the master key which can achieve all this-Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba

Devotion to God
God has for me a destiny
I need not worry, tear my hair or be sorry
He shall wish and that will be done
I need only act out his screenplay
He will look after me and care
If I look upto Him with faith and obedience.
Devotion does not require money
just a little patience and strength
and the willpower to pass His test
to prove we are worth.

Bhagavatham in Prashanti Nilayam
Srimad Bhagavatham is one of the most sacred and important of the Puranas presen...t. It is considered as the Mahapurana amongst the 18 Puranaas.
The very word Bhagavatham means Song about the Lord, who is filled with Bhaga or aishwaryaas or auspicious qualities (astha aishwaryaas). Bhagavatham is not a mere epic that speaks just about the Lord and His leelas or plays, but it is an epic in which one can find the ultimate reality embedded in the form of stories. Each of the chapter in Bhagavatham, each story in the Bhagavatham has some deep import to be told with respect to the ultimate reality of Brahman or Consciousness or Self – one without a second. This makes Bhagavatham a very important work for ardent seekers of the reality.
Srimad Bhagavatham has a total of 18000 slokas split across 12 Skandaas. Each skanda is further split into various chapters. These chapters have slokas which explain the ultimate reality through various stories, descriptions of the Lord, His sportive plays among other things.
Srimad Bhagavatham is in the form of a dialogue between Suta and Saunaka Sages. Suta was the disciple of Vyaasa to whom Vyaasa taught the Puranaas and Vedas along with his own son Suka. Suta tells that Bhagavatham was taught by Suka to King Parikshit in 7 days learning which Parikshit attained the immortal state of Self or Consciousness here in this world itself (before being bit by the snake Takshakan).
The Bhagavatha Saptaaham is famous and performed in various places (as Suka explained it to Parikshit in 7 days). These seven days the slokas of Bhagavatham is chanted followed by stories and commentaries.
Bhagavatham itself says about its purpose in the 12th Skanda:
Sarva Vedaantha saaram yad brahma aatmaikya lakshanam
Vasthu Adviteeyam tannishtam kaivalyam ekam prayojanam
In Prasanthi, it is His Story that is retold in His immediate presence…When Bhagavatha Saptaaha happens in Prasanthi, the audience is not alone the devotees, but includes the silent listener of all conversations, The One, who has embodied yet again in human form, Bhagawan Himself! …And here the stories are narrated in a customized style, without going by the slokas as given in Srimad Bhagavatham, instead going by selected stories from the epic with a mix of the story and mission of the life of the present Avatar.See More

Satya sai baba's saying-mind
Today all spiritual sadhana is being done through the mind. As long as the mind dominates spiritual exercises, the goal of self-realisation cannot be attained. The mind is like a thief who will not allow himself to be caught. There is no use relying on the mind to realise the self. When the vision is centred on the self, the mind fade...s away by itself. - Baba
